Appreciate it. I feel you, it helps with the radio play to keep the cuts short but I'd never do this song live. Maybe in a cypher, but I got alot more "modern sounding" cuts that I do on stage.

I think I will end up using this. Its not distracting or flashy which is perfect for a battle lets be honest. We need to get back more to just a simple metronome if we're going to be battling online without video anyway. Great battle beat simple, not distracting and still menacing. What is the BPM?

I'd have to check the BPM, but its around 90-95 or so. Thanks though, I've always thought the battle instrumentals should be simple melody-wise and maybe more complex drum wise, just to help flow but not to distract from the actual battlers.

Vins:
-whack flow, just not a fan of the eunciation and style, sounds like a white guy trying to sound like a cholo
-'straight doped up' failed flip, proving to be a sober prohibitionist and the exact moment he lost my vote.
-can't think of anything less gangster then Smash brothers

Pigpen:
+has that Madness like swagger from verse 1 with the Lil C laugh echoing out of his last verse

Vins:
better then first verse

Vins is a good rapper in theory if his lyrics and eunciation weren't garbage. If he learns to write in the present tense, loses the cholo style (just use your regular voice) and then he'd be a upper/middle tier rapper.

However Pigpen is what makes this track re-listenable Vins verses are forgettable meanwhile Pigpens verse is the better written, more funny and has more replayability.

Swine Pencil gets my vote.
